Haley 🫱🏻🫲🏾 Getting things done.
While I was growing up in the rainy Northwest, my dad taught me how to be what he called a “Renaissance Woman”. Someone with many talents who can be personable, versatile, and an expert all at once. This stuck with me throughout my life. I became a nationally competitive rower, a concert pianist, and told my parents I was going to grow up to be a veterinarian. While the vet thing didn’t work out (though I do still love animals), what it taught me was that I truly do love being the person who can take on anything, even if I don’t know how to do it yet.
Now that I’m a professional, I see this philosophy affect my every day attitude and actions. I pride myself in my solid UX, Research, and Data skills but am never afraid to jump into a project to help a colleague or simply to learn something new. In my current position, I’ve jumped at opportunities to improve our experiences and team by collaborating with data-science leaders and recreating our design file handoff processes.
My ultimate goal is to make an impact on people and nurture the synergies between technology and design.
